Alumni

The Alumni section of EESTEC grew from the need to trace and keep track of the former members. This idea has been considered among the younger and older generations of EESTEC: in the Congress 1997 (Tampere - Helsinki) EESTEC Alumni was discussed as a part of one workshop and in Congress 1998 (Reggio Emilia) the EESTEC Statutes were extended in order to state the relationship between EESTEC Alumni and EESTEC.

Alumni is a way to stay in contact with EESTEC matters for the members who have graduated / are about to graduate and do not have that much time to spend in EESTEC activities. It is also a good way to reserve the contacts between the friends in EESTEC, who are more or less in the same level of studies. For younger EESTEC members Alumni is a channel where they can find "the living history" of EESTEC and maybe ask for advise or help on how things have been done before. At international level EESTEC hopes that Alumni helps in finding the right persons to turn to when seeking sponsoring or in getting interesting articles for the Newsletter.
