Profile

My name is Stevan Cvetković and I was born in 1987. After finishing Medical High School, I decided to study Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Niš. Strange choice to study EE after medicine, some of you might say, but I am full of surprises.

11 months ago I have heard from a friend of mine for some student association that organize exchanges of EE students all around Europe. I was interested to join in, so he took me to one of their regular meetings where I met my colleagues that very soon became my coworkers and best friends. They showed me that work by itself doesn’t need to be boring – it can be fun and creative when you’re surrounded with your friends always willing to help you.

I probably had the fastest rise up in EESTEC ever. Soon after I become a member of LC Niš, Board promoted me to Web Administrator Assistant, then to Web Administrator and, at the end, to Vice-Chairman for Internal Affairs. In parallel, all that time I was working as board assistant of VC-P&A International, Yearbook Committee coordinator and Yearbook editor.

On that very first day of Congress 2008 in Ljubljana, I was listening what Omur said at the opening. He told us that "there are new Board members sitting among us". Thought that hits my head at that moment was: "Ya, right...like I’m one of them...". In less than ten days, I was elected for the position of VC-P&A...

My main goals in the year that follows is to make stronger EESTEC brand, publish best Magazine and Yearbook ever seen, maybe advertise EESTEC on TV stations all around Europe...and much, much more.

As I wrote at the beginning,  I am full of surprises. Who knows what kind of ideas I will come up – one year is a long time.
